The Methodology

Jan 27, 2021

In yoga terms, the word guru means remover of darkness or ignorance.

Discerning about who we sign up to work with, no matter how we define a teacher or a guru, an expert and enlightened person or someone who challenges us to look at our own limiting beliefs, there are ways that we look for wisdom outside ourselves. These kinds of teachers are no doubt powerful, but the most powerful source of wisdom is within. It's wonderful to learn from others. It's wonderful that we have these teachers, but there is nobody that knows yourself like you do.

The most powerful source of wisdom is within you. And when I work with a client, my goal is to help them realize that they are infinitely powerful. And the only thing getting in the way of that is surface stuff. And when we clear the surface, it's like polishing a rough stone into a diamond.

So all this to say, talk less and listen more. You can hear or see exactly where to go and what to do next - If you give yourself permission to trust the non-verbal part of your brain. And honestly, we're all intuitive. I call myself an intuitive, but we're all intuitive. And one of the most scientifically proven ways to tap into your intuition is to listen to the non-verbal part of your brain and body.
